01 - Faceless Portrait
I recently stumbled upon a challenge in a facebook group I am in called Looks Like Film.
The year has only just begun and I have already felt as if I am on a mental rollercoaster trying to balance work and life while maintaining a creative mind. Every year I anticipate the possibility of doing a 365 or 52 project but often come up short in the delivery. So I found this monthly challenge to be a pleasant relief. The photos below were all processed with VSCO 03 PX-680 Warm. I thought giving these images an extreme film feel would empathize with the feelings I wanted to portray. Being an introvert, I have always felt self portraits to be a huge leap. I prefer my place to be behind the lens.
