We all have our go to coffee. Regardless of what that means to you, whether you drink regular drip coffee or consider yourself to be a "coffee snob", we all like what we like. The problem is sometimes things happen and we lose access to those preferences. In March the pandemic hit hard in many of our communities as shutdowns and orders were placed to curb the virus. I found myself furloughed at home, sheltering in place and almost dry on my usual whole beans I typically buy from Starbucks. My first world problem worry was, how am I going to get a whole bean blonde espresso without leaving my house. Many online retailers sell the stuff you can buy at the local grocery, which to be honest isn't always up to my standards. Surprisingly I found Wink Coffee on Amazon and took a chance. The bag was over twice the size of my usual source and much more affordable.
"You get what you pay for" the throw away statement that follows just about every affordable option these days was entirely incorrect with Wink. I was sceptical at first but after a few test grinds I got it perfect and have consumed nearly four bags since. Who would have thought one could get a single source, small batch fresh, blonde espresso delivered to your doorstep without a premium price tag. I strongly recommend this brands coffee, not just because of the value, because of the taste as it contends well with what I usually brew at home and has become a staple in our pantry to keep stocked.
